The office can be a minefield of social and sexual politics, and the advertising group of Chapman and Howard is no exception in John Godber’s hilarious look at the office Christmas Party. The bash starts off innocently enough after another hectic day at the office --- but as the drinks begin to flow and the good times roll, the party soon threatens to get out of hand when underlying tensions rise to the surface. As the evening reaches its climax and the party lurches from one disaster to another, the façade of the advertising business is stripped away, together with that of the staff’s private lives…….
