PLEASE NOTE: Any galleries or exhibitions in the bar area are by appointment ONLY. Be sure to contact the venue ahead of any visit to ensure someone can show you the space.

The Bridewell Bar’s not just for drinks in the wee small hours, but also hosts live music and other occasional special events.

The Theatre’s satellite features exhibitions by artists and photographers all the year round. The space is open during all Theatre productions.

Please note: Whilst the venue is open from Mon – Fri 10am – 6pm, there may not be staff to show you the gallery in the bar area.

Prints by Louise Hayward RE

Louise’s prints depict the urban spaces and built environment of London with some of her work focusing on the city’s post-war housing estates. Frequently reviled and negatively associated with social decay, the design, structure and sculptural qualities of these geometric structures often have a powerful presence and add character to the more ‘ordinary’ neighbourhoods where most people live.

ImproVox evenings at the Bridewell Theatre Bar are dedicated to the human voice in company with an array of sounds and improvised music. The evening has grown out of the Lo-fi Improvised Music Workshops that take place monthly at Longfield Hall, Camberwell. We invite special guest headliners, with support from combinations of musicians from the Lo-fi Ensemble.
