Broadsides
We recently applied for and received funding to digitise our collection of more than 1,000 broadsides from TownsWeb Archiving. These single-page newspapers were the tabloids of Georgian London, full of gory murders, ballads about ships lost at sea and some rather unflattering illustrations of well-known figures.
