The deep end of drama
The Bridewell Theatre was London’s first heated swimming pool. Since 1994 it has become an acclaimed Off West End receiving house where independent production companies tread the boards. The pool still exists below the stage, playing a supporting role in many a dramatic trapdoor entrance.
