This one-day workshop is an ideal introduction to traditional printing. Whether you're completely new to letterpress, looking for a rewarding creative hobby, or thinking about setting up a small home studio, you'll leave with a solid grounding in the essentials.

Working with the much-loved Adana tabletop press, you'll learn the fundamentals of hand typesetting and printing, alongside practical guidance on press maintenance, workshop organisation, and what to consider when buying equipment. With plenty of hands-on experience and expert support, the day is designed to build confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of this enduring craft.

Tutor: Mick Clayton
