Eye magazine hosts another of its popular Type Tuesday evening events.
Rick Poynor will be in conversation with Eye Editor, John L. Walters to mark the launch of his new book Why Graphic Culture Matters, a collection of 45 essays published this month by Occasional Papers, the acclaimed non-profit imprint founded by Sara De Bondt and Antony Hudek. Sara, who gave a memorable talk for Eye’s Type Tuesday last March, will also be there to take part in the discussion.
The Eye magazine team, including editor John L. Walters and art director Simon Esterson, will also be there to launch the latest issue of Eye, no. 105.
There will be a bar and a stall at which you can buy copies of Why Graphic Culture Matters and bargain back issues of Eye – plus the latest edition Eye 105.
All proceeds go to support St Bride Foundation.
Ticket is non-refundable, however you are welcome to offer your ticket to another person. Please contact [email protected] to change the name of your booking at least 7 days prior to the event date.
The final Type Tuesday of the year will be on 28 November with Joby Carter.
