St Bride Foundation Wayzgoose 2026
A joyful celebration of all things print
St Bride Foundation Wayzgoose returned in May 2026 for another lively and inky celebration of letterpress printing, design and the creative community—and what an event it was!
Throughout the day, the Foundation was buzzing with activity as visitors explored a packed programme of stalls offering beautiful prints, vibrant posters, type, ornaments, paper, printed ephemera and books, alongside unique treasures and specialist materials. The Wayzgoose once again proved to be a meeting place for printers, designers, makers, and enthusiasts, with conversations flowing as freely as the ink.
Our workshop was a particular highlight, with opportunities for visitors to try letterpress printing for themselves, using our historic presses and to learn about the last days of hot metal printing from our volunteers who worked in and around Fleet Street in the heyday of newspaper publishing. These hands‑on moments, frequently shared on social media under #sbfwayzgoose, captured the spirit of curiosity, generosity, and shared knowledge that defines the event.
Of course, no Wayzgoose would be complete without cake, and weary Wayzgoosers were warmly welcomed with home baked goods, tea and chat, rounding off a day that celebrated the immense talent and creativity of our letterpress communities.
We were delighted to see such strong attendance and enthusiasm throughout the day. The 2026 Wayzgoose reaffirmed its place as a highlight of the SBF calendar, helping to raise vital funds for our Library and Workshop while celebrating the enduring craft of print in all its forms.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, with a special shout out to the team of volunteers who helped to make this year’s Wayzgoose such a success—we look forward to doing it all again next year.
