To coincide with the annual St Bride Foundation Wayzgoose, we have invited five printing institutions from Great Britain and Ireland to open their doors to us to share the stories, culture and treasures held within their walls.
With talks from the National Print Museum Dublin, Norwich Printing Museum, The Bodleian Bibliographical Press, Cambridge Museum of Technology and the St Bride Library and Print Workshop, this lecture will shine the spotlight on the rich tradition of letterpress printing heritage in our Isles.
There are a fantastic number of printing museums and institutions across Great Britain and Ireland – here are the wonderful places we’ve stumbled upon so far (with apologies to any we may have missed):
We would like to thank Google and The Wynkyn de Worde Society Charitable Trust for their generosity in sponsoring this lecture.
