Lunchbreak Opera returns to the Bridewell Theatre after their appearance in the Opera in the City Festival 2018 with the final opera of Giacomo Puccini's Il Trittico. Gianni Schicchi is a comical farce inspired by characters from Dante's Divine Comedy and the theatrical style of Commedia Dell'Arte.

‘A dysfunctional family believe that they are set to inherit a great deal of money when the patriarch of the family dies. They must turn to Gianni Schicchi for help when their plans go awry.’

Lunchbreak Opera presents a new production of this classic opera in a new arrangement and English translation.
