Urinetown
Written by: Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis Directed by: Kenneth Avery Clark Presented by: International College of Musical Theatre
In the not-so-distant future, a terrible water shortage and 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets and a proliferation of paid public toilets, owned and operated by a single megalomaniac company: the Urine Good Company.
Praised for reinvigorating the very notion of what a musical could be, Urinetown is a "comedic romp", with its outrageous perspective, wickedly modern wit, and sustained ability to produce gales of unbridled laughter.
