Working with a selection of curated alphabets from St Bride Foundation's collections – from the 18th century onwards. The workshop is very hands-on. No computers. Nothing digital. Review letters and alphabets, cut out, compose, recompose, construct and reconstruct. Using scissors, paper, and glue - work quickly and generate lots of options and ideas. Look at the letters as form not type. Discuss and critique collectively. Use hands and minds.
