SSLA Annual Calligraphy Exhibition 2018
The South London Lettering Association is a thriving calligraphy group, who will be holding their annual exhibition in October. The theme this year is 'Waterways of London - yesterday, today and tomorrow'. We expect to see many pieces of work based on that theme, together with non-themed work and pieces from SLLA workshops.
Also on display will be be some items selected from the St. Bride archive. These are examples of original hand drawn lettering and other related works by Eric Gill and it will be fascinating to see the hand drawn letters that became his famous type font.
Members of the association will be on hand to chat about calligraphy and the society.
16th until 26th October, Mon - Fri, 11am - 6pm
